Co-Founder/President
Mark McEathron
Mark McEathron, the President of Friends of Sycamore House, is an ordained pastor, father of five children, lover of the outdoors and committed to using his life to make a positive difference in the lives of people. He has been on multiple mission trips to the Dominican Republic, and it was on one of these trips that God put on his heart the concept of starting a non-profit orphanage in the Dominican Republic. He and his wife, Julie Rochat, live in North Carolina.

Co-Founder/Secretary
Julie Rochat
Julie Rochat, co-founder of Sycamore House, is a licensed teacher with a love for all kids and a passion for the underserved and needy. She served with a Christian rescue mission in a variety of capacities to help and teach the homeless, and she and Mark have opened their home often for those without housing. Julie served as the director of the Outreach Team at their church in MA, organizing many events for those in physical and spiritual need, and has participated in missions trips to Haiti and the DR.
Treasurer
Herman Fuller
Herman Fuller serves as the Treasurer. He is a product management professional in the telecommunications industry. Herman has many years of experience on various non-profit boards. He has been involved with missions in the USA and Dominican Republic, focused on the well-being of children, for over twenty years. Herman’s desire is to leverage his board experience to help fulfill the vision God has given for this orphanage. He is married, has three children and resides in the state of Massachusetts.

Bruce Nyquist
Bruce Nyquist is a long-time member of an evangelical church in Vermont. He is the father of four and has dedicated his life to work with young people at home and around the globe. Bruce has worked with the youth group at his church for over 25 years and has participated in several mission trips to India and Rwanda. He assists in running a faith-based outreach basketball program for the community and also participates in his church worship team. When not working or serving at his local church, he plays the cello and enjoys the outdoors, especially hiking and skiing.

Antonio Salgado Jr.
Antonio Salgado Jr. is originally from Tampa, Florida. Antonio has served for the last 10 years as a missionary in the Dominican Republic. He has served in 4 church plants, has taught English, theology, does disaster relief and is the founder and director of Biblical Christian Missionary Society which supports mission work in the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Venezuela. He is currently the Director of Operations at a Christian orphanage Fundación Red Misericordia (Mercy Net) serving vulnerable children and adolescents In Santiago de los Caballeros. Antonio is husband to Kaoly Garcia, father to Trinity, Maya, Antonio, and Yeison.
